Amanda Lee Johnson

Amanda Lee Johnson was born September 29, 1953, in Hermandale, Missouri to loving parents, Adama and Mary Johnson. She departed this life February 8, 2017 at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems.+

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Mary Johnson; her brothers and sisters.

She was a loving sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She lived in Blytheville, Arkansas for a while.  She graduated South Pemiscot School in 1971.  She was a caregive, desk clerk and later became a homemaker.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Shawn Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona and Gerald (Barbara) Wheeler of Dyersburg, Tennessee; sister, Dobbie Hughley of Harperwood, Michigan; grandchildren, Bishop Ware of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Amanda and Alexus Wheeler of Dyersburg, Tennessee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special friend, Charles Jones of Caruthersville, MO.
