Henrietta (Watson) Mitchell

Henrietta Mitchell, was born December 18, 1940 in Marion Arkansas to Robert Lee Watson and Willie Mae Watson.  She departed this life Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Poplar Bluff      Regional Medical Center. 

     Henrietta confessed faith in Christ at an early age at the Mission House, later named Watson & Jones Spiritual Church under the leadership of her father, Pastor Robert Lee Watson who preceded her in death and Pastor Nathaniel Jones.  She remained a faithful member of Eastside Spiritual Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie Joe Jones. 

     She was united in Holy Matrimony to Lee Troy Mitchell who   preceded her in death.  To this union eight children were born.

     She was preceded in death by four of her children, Joyce         Robinson, Shirley Mitchell, Mary Mitchell and Lennetta Mitchell.

     She leaves to mourn: her mother, Willie Mae Watson of Kennett, MO, five children, Joann Roberson of Kennett, MO, Annetta     Johnson of Phoenix, AZ, Charles Mitchell, Lee Troy Mitchell, Jr. and Wanda Hereford all of Lubbock, TX, three sisters, Bobbie (Jerry) Cole Chicago, IL, Flora Neal of Detroit, MI, Jerlean Carter of       Kennett, MO, two brothers, Charlie (Ida) Watson of Flint, MI, Joe Watson of East St. Louis, IL, her legacy will live on with her 21 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews,  cousins, other relatives and friends.
