Calvin Flowers, was born November 21, 1943 in Hayti, Missouri to William and Fannie Flowers. He departed this life Friday, September 21, 2018 in Mequon, Wisconsin.
He worked for many years at A.O. Smith until he retired in 1992. He then went to work for Harley-Davidson and retired from there in 2007.
He received his education at Central School and graduated in 1961. He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War and received an honorable discharge.
He was preceded in death by his father, William, brothers, Melvin Flowers, Bennie Caldwell, Johnny Flowers, Alvin Flowers, sisters, Joyce Flowers-Jackson and Constance Flowers-Dodson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Calvin Patrick, Milwaukee, WI and Kevin (Cynthia) Flennoy; Las Vegas, NV his mother, Fannie Flowers of Kennett, MO; brothers, Allen Flowers, Garvin Flowers and Donald Flowers; sisters, Katherine Flowers-Ford, Sharon Sandford, Gail Crawford, Linda Wade and Wanda Flowers; granddaughter, Asheli Dunn, Hayti, MO; grandsons, Chiri Patrick, Milwaukee, WI, Ryan Flennoy, Las Vegas, NV, close friends, Oscar Jordan and Marvell, and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
