Eddie Mae Whitfield

Eddie Mae Whitfield was born June 14, 1944 to the late David and Bessie McDuffy Whitfield in Caruthersville, Missouri.  She departed this life December 25, 2016 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital.

She would often attend Progressive Church of God in Christ with her son Anthony .  She was a very strong woman who loved her family.  Preceding her in death was one brother, Will Whitfield and one son, Andrew Whitfield.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her long time companion, Robert McKillion of 45 years; two sons, Stacey Whitfield of Fulton, Missouri and Anthony  Whitfield of Caruthersville, Missouri; two sisters, Georgia Evans and Bessie Lee both of  Caruthersville, Missouri; one granddaughter, Antionette Smith of Caruthersville, Missouri and one grandson, Ashton Dismuke of St. Louis, Missouri; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends .
