Welcome to the memorial page for

Alma Jean Caldwell

June 1, 1957 ~ June 30, 2014 (age 57) 57 Years Old

Alma Jean Caldwell was born in Phillippy, TN to the late Ms. Willie Mae Clark and Mr. William Tucker on June 1, 1957. She departed this life on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Caruthersville Nursing Home after a long term illness.

Alma Jean Caldwell confessed Christ at an early age. As a young adult, Alma Jean rededicated her life to the Lord. She joined St. James Word of Faith under the leadership of Pastor Johnny Hood. As her health declined, travel became difficult so she joined Greater Mt. Carmel Christian Fellowship under Pastor Jacquin Benson Sr., which made it easier for her to worship regularly.

Alma Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Ms. Willie Mae Clark and a sister, Ms. Gladys McClorn. Alma Jean leaves behind to cherish her memory: her husband, James Williams of Caruthersville, MO; three children, Daniel Caldwell of Chicago, IL; Belinda (Lamar) King of Homestown, MO; Janette Caldwell (Cory) of Piggott, AR; her father, Mr. William Tucker of Milwaukee, WI; her grandmother, Alberta Harveson of Dyersburg, TN; three sisters, Martha Bryant,  Lula Mae (Ben) Cardwell of Ridgely, TN; Terry (Joe) Hill of Dyersburg, TN; one brother, Pat (Beatrice) Caldwell of Dyersburg, TN; one aunt, Ms. Louise Sanders of Dyersburg, TN; two brothers-in-law, Ray (Betty) Williams of Caruthersville, TN and Roy (Pearl) Williams of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, LeJuane Johnson Jr., JaWon Johnson, DaJohn Caldwell, Dustin Caldwell, and Xavier Caldwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will truly be missed by all.
