Annie Lee Wright was born November 25, 1956, in Tunica, Mississippi to David and Willie Lee Wright. She received her education at Ross School in Tunica, Mississippi. She resided in Kankakee, Illinois. She learned the Bible at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Bourbonnais, Illinois. She also took American Sign Language class there.
Annie was known as "Bull" to many people. She loved shopping, watching TV, and being with her family. She was very funny, kept you laughing. She always found a way to make you understand her if you didn't. She accepted Christ at an early age. February 24, 2022, God called her home.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Denice Wright of Minneapolis, MN, Irena (Romerly) Brown of Brooklyn Park, MN; two sons, Anthony (Tiffiny Cagle) Wright of Peoria, IL and Antonio Wright of Minneapolis, MN; eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her common law husband, Jeffrey Hollis of Kankakee, IL, one sister-in-law, Annie Denson of Mississippi, a special friend named Deb of Kankakee, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, two sisters, Frances Wright and Atline Wright, five brothers, David Wright, Jimmie Wright, Melvin Wright, Roy Riley and "JR" James Miles, one sister-in-law, Jeanie Wright and one grandchild, RocQwan Smith.
