Beverly Patricia (Hayden) Lee

Beverly Patricia Lee was born in Hayti, Missouri on February 22, 1952 to the union of George and Allene Hayden.  She made her transition on August 9, 2021.

Beverly graduated from North Pemiscot High School in Wardell, Missouri in 1970.  She later married David Lee on January 4, 1974.  From this union four children were born.

She accepted Christ at an early age.  She was a member of 12th Street Baptist under the leadership of Reverend Joshua Black.

Beverly knew no stranger and had great love for people.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She had a heart of gold, and also loved helping people in need.  Beverly was an inspiration to all who knew her period; there was nothing she liked better than an interesting conversation with a good friend.  She could have engaged in conversation with anyone.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Rita Wooden (Mitchell) of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Brandi (Cemond) Brooks of Columbia, Missouri; four sons, Horacio Lee of Caruthersville, Missouri, David Lee of Columbia, Missouri, Travis Lee of Madison, Wisconsin and Brandon Lee (Diana) of Caruthersville, Missouri; six siblings, Geraldine Griffith of Chicago, Illinois, Donald Hayden of Caruthersville, Missouri, Reama Hayden of Seattle, Washington, Janice Hayden of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Beverly is preceded in death by her sister, Bernice Crafton; brother, George Hayden, Jr. and parents, George Hayden, Sr. and Allene Hayden.  Also, 29 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
