Catherine (Bell) Spriggs

 Catherine    “Peggy” (Bell) Spriggs born January 31^st 1946 in Walls, Mississippi to Ammie Mae Lovelady and William Bell. Catherine had one son, Andrew Lee          Ruthledge -Clark, prior to marrying Eddie Lee Spriggs “June” on January 9^th 1968, seven children was born to this union, Easter Mae (Jesse L ) Stephan; LeDora Lee (Randy) Campbell; Melissa Buchanan; Marshell Spriggs; Eddie Lee Spriggs Jr.; Keynoie “Chris” Spriggs; Janice Spriggs.

Catherine (Peggy), 74 was called home April 21^st, 2020. Catherine enjoyed watching soap operas, puzzle books, and cooking for her family. Family was very important to Peggy; she gave all she had to protect and serve her family. She enjoyed being a wife for 31 years to Eddie and taken care of her children and grandchildren.

Peggy favorite color is purple, we will be honoring her today wearing this color. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, and friend people think and speak of. Peggy, a loving spirit all the time, she will be remembered and sorely missed by many.

Peggy was proceeded in death by three (3) brothers, (4) sisters, her husband, Eddie Lee Sr., (99); son, Eddie Lee Jr. (’15) and daughter, LeDora Lee (’17), LeDora will be placed at the feet of Catherine’s burial during interment. 

Catherine is survived by one brother, Willie B. Bell and one sister, Dorothy Pearson of Lansing, Michigan and six children in addition, to a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews
