Howard D. Boswell was born on October 28, 1936 to Adell and Helen Boswell in Steele, Missouri.
Blessed to know God intimately, Howard willingly rededicated his life to Christ in 1979. He was committed to living a life that would be pleasing to God. Howard was a Bishop of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
In life, Howard was a selfless man. He served our country as a member of the United States Air Force. After his commitment to our country was complete, he spent the rest of his career working for the United States Postal Service from which he retired. During his free time Howard enjoyed spreading the love and the word of God. He was truly a living vessel that allowed himself to be utilized in his divine purpose.
Howard Boswell completed his earthy journey on March 13, 2021. He was preceded in death and welcomed into Heaven by; Adell and Helen Boswell, Charles Boswell, Joe Boswell, Allen Boswell, Juanita Lawhorn, and Reginald Boswell, Lela Pearline Boswell, Ray Anthony Johnson, Rosanna Boswell, and Michael Johnson.
Left behind to carry his memory and legacy are his siblings; Fred (Judy) Boswell, Sydney Boswell, Alice Hegwood, and Clara Coleman, his children; Howard Boswell Jr., Gregory (Jacqueline) Boswell, Kenneth Boswell, Tricia Boswell, Allyson Thomas, Janice Johnson, Sheila Bell, William Johnson, Felicia (Jerry) Donner, Vincent Johnson, Cameal Robinson, Wanda (Kelvin) Houston, and Willie (Mary) Johnson. He also leaves his ex-wife and cherished friend Margaret Boswell. Howard was also blessed to be the grandfather and great grandfather of many of whom he cherished and will forever be his legacy.
