Jessie Mae “Honey” King-Davis, loving mother of Timothy King, was born January 26, 1954 in Homestown, MO, where she was delivered by Ronibell Gill-Hall. She attended school in Wardell, MO. and was involved in church at a very young age. During her early years, she worked for Emerson, up until her retirement. Jessie enjoyed spending time with family, going out for dinner, shopping, and going to church. She belonged to Miracle Temple of God and Christ and served on the Motherboard for several years. Her favorite singers were Tamela Mann and Shirley Caesar and her favorite songs were "I won't complain" and "Take Me to the King".
Jessie was preceded in death by her grandmother Ronibell Gill-Hall, mother and father Margarite King and Eugene King, her sisters Alma Lee King and Margaret "Sugafoot" King and her brother Roma Lee King. Jessie is survived by husband Curtis Davis, son Timothy King, grandchildren Whitney Moore, Jessica King, Tenika King, Niara Hudson, Jayontae Greene, great granddaughter Nariah Moore , and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
