Jimmie Ray Agnew, was born February 26, 1955 to John Agnew, Sr. and Lillie D. Rowe. He was the thirteen child of fourteen, 8 boys and 6 girls. He made his transition from his earthly home to his heavenly home March 2, 2018 in Anderson, Indiana in the comfort of his home.

He grew up on the Tipton Farm in Caruthersville.  He loved playing       basketball, baseball and softball; he also loved fishing and hunting.  After graduating from Caruthersville High School. He moved to Anderson,      Indiana where he was employed at General Motors for 32 years.

On March 5, 1975 he was united in marriage to Lynetta Hoskin to this  union one daughter, Tabitha and one son, Jimi was born.  April 1993, he married Shirley Grant .  He had three step children.

He was preceded in death by his father, John  Sr., mother Lillie D., two brothers, John Jr. and Freddie, two sisters, Juanita, Goldie and one    daughter.

He is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Agnew and son, Jimi Agnew of Anderson, Indiana, five brothers, Roosevelt Agnew of Chicago, Illinois, Jackie Agnew of Shreveport, Louisiana, Richard (Jean) Agnew, Charles (Eunice)  Agnew of Anderson, Indiana, William Agnew of Caruthersville, Missouri; four sisters, Addie Foreman, Mary Frances, Agnew of Caruthersville, Missouri, Ernestine Agnew of Kansas City, Missouri,     Dorothy Sheard of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren, three great         grandchildren, three step   children, a loving sister-in-law, Leola Agnew of Caruthersville, Missouri, one aunt, Laverne Agnew of Los Angeles, California and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
