Juanita Rodgers was born October 22, 1946 in Blytheville to the late James Edward Rodgers and Nannie Agnew Rodgers. She graduated Washington High School in 1965 in Caruthersville, Missouri.
She was well known in her community. In 1965, she started her work career at Tipton Box Factory, Brown Shoe Company, Lady Luck Casino and numerous other jobs in the community. Juanita was a loving, caring and hard working mother, daughter, sister and auntie, which she treated everyone in this community as her own child. To have known her is to love her.
Her bobbies were sewing, decorating and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and she will be missed dearly. Her spirit will live on through all of us in the valuable lessons and memories that she left with us.
Juanita departed this life August 28, 2021 at 1:00 a.m. at Great River Hospital in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Ann Rodgers, her parents, James and Nannie Rodgers, four sisters, Geneva Portwood, Ida Mae Rodgers, Mary Lee Jenkins and Saddie Ann Rodgers and two brothers, James Freddie Rodgers, and Danny Eugene Rodgers.
She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children: Donna Kay Rodgers of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Tonya Rodgers of Kennett, Missouri and Keith Rodgers of Caruthersville, Missouri, brother Tee Willis (Barbara) Rodgers of Caruthersville, Missouri.
She leaves a legacy to 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
