Kathrine Brantley

Kathrine Ann Brantley was born on February 2, 1962 to the late Shelby Brantley and Wynette (Brantley) Green. Kathrine departed this life on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. She was raised in Kenosha, WI where she received her formal education. Kathrine loved the Lord and accepted Christ as her savior as a young girl at Friendship Baptist Church, Kenosha, WI. Kathrine later relocated to Hayti, MO.

Kathrine loved listening to gospel music, singing, laughing, being with her family and having fun with friends. Those who knew her knew her children and grandchildren were her strength. Family was very important to her. Kathrine spent many hours even during her sickness to call family and friends to say "I love you". Kathrine touched the lives of many people with her laughter and her concern for their well-being.

She was preceded in death by her father Shelby Brantley; her sister, Shirley Ann (Shack) Bradley-Jenkins; her brother, Robert Brantley; her grandson, Nathan Spikes; and Joe L. Green whom she proudly called Dad.

Kathrine will forever be remembered by her daughter, Yolanda (Frankie) Russell of Hayti, MO; her two sons, Robert Brantley of Kenosha, WI and Shelby Brantley of Hayti, MO; her mother, Wynette Green of Kenosha, WI; two sisters, Annette Brantley of Kenosha, WI and Linda (George) Rogers of Milwaukee, WI; eight grandchildren: Tyana, Ty'rianna, Najah, Natley, Tatiana, Alexander, Ja'quari, Ja'marie; her loving companion and best friend, Elijah Green, along with a host of family and friends.
