Leslie Lee Truss, Jr.

Leslie Lee Truss, Jr. was born February 22, 1979 in Hayti, MO to Leslie Lee Truss, Sr. and JoAnn Truss-Roston. On May 24, 2016 he transitioned to his eternal home.

He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Jaquin Benson, Sr. at Greater Mount Carmel Church.

He later moved to Columbia, MO where he worked for Collum & Akam.  He received his GED while in Columbia, MO and was united in marriage to Zandria West.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Percy Truss, his grandmother, Vera Green, one uncle, James Truss, one aunt, Evelyn Green, cousins Lil Ollie Truss, Jr., Antonio Green, Koesha Rogers, Johnny Jamaan Kirby and Lillie Mae Truss.

He loved basketball, cars, and caps of all kind. His favorite basketball team was the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Leslie Lee Truss, Sr. and JoAnn Truss Roston (Lorenzo); the mother of his children and significant other, Dorothy Robinson; two sons, De'Varion Taylor and Les Truss III; two daughters, Eilsel'a Truss and Na'Tavia Cullins; one sister, Latonya Vance (Charles) of Jackson, TN; two brothers, Elmer Truss (Alisa) and Edward Truss both of Caruthersville, MO; grandmother, Helen Ruth Truss; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
