Ossie Lee (Taylor) Magic

Ossie Lee Magic of Denton, Texas was born to the late Edward Lee Taylor and Clyde Carter Sykes in Grenada, Mississippi on May 7, 1930. She passed away at NHC Nursing Home in Kennett, Missouri and God met her with outstretched arms January 21, 2014 at the age of 83.

Ossie was met at heaven's gates by her parents; husand, Sammie Lee Magic; her son, Sammie Lee Magic, Jr.; sisters, Ella Jane Reed, Robbie Lee Hill; Ella Vee and Nora Lee Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter, Emma Payton; brother, Leroy Sykes; grandson, Gene Payton (Michelle) of Cincinnati, OH; granddaughters, Marian Payton and Renee Payton of Caruthersville, MO; Terice Smith (Charles) of Cape Girardeau, MO; grandson, Jonathan Taylor of Caruthersville, MO; a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends in Denton, TX, and a close friend of the family, Marcella Franklin.
