Slyolandra Yvette Patterson

Slyolandra Yvette Patterson,  was born November 7, 1985 in Kennett, Missouri  to Reginald  Patterson and Linda Patterson.  She departed this life Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri.

She confessed faith in Christ in her early years at the     Watson & Jones Spiritual Church under the leadership of her late great grandfather, Pastor Robert Lee Watson and the late Pastor Nathaniel Jones.  She remained a faithful member of St. James Word of Faith Church under the   leadership of Pastor Johnny Hood in Hayti, Missouri.  She graduated from High School with honors.  She made us very proud.

She was a devoted and loving mother to her four beautiful children, Jamadra Williams 10, Ni’Yondra 7, Dra’Montaze Houston 4, and Montai’dra Houston 3.  She was a loving daughter, friend, big sister, that would go out of her way to help others.  She took bad situations and made the best of them.  She will  truly be missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Robert Lee Watson, uncle, Terry Watson and cousin, Joyce      Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Linda Carter, her father, Reginald (Teresa) Patterson of Springfield, MO; her four children, son Jamadri Williams, daughter Ni’Yondra Patterson, son Dra’Montaze Houston, daughter Montai’dra Houston; siblings, Tammy Patterson, Desire   Fillmore, Justin Fillmore all of Springfield, MO, Brandi   Hamilton of MS, Antonio Kelly and Deon Johnson of Springfield, MO; grandparents, Jerlean Carter, Kennett MO, Lavell McIntyre Hayti, MO, Louis (Cheryl) Carter St. Louis, MO,  great grand parents, Willie Mae Watson Kennett, MO, Miller Adams Lansing, MI; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
