Tony Edward Massengale

     Tony Edward Massengale, was born February 8, 1969, in Blytheville, Arkansas to Dorothy S. Massengale and Robert Lee Massengale. 

He attended Blytheville Elementary School,  later he relocated to Caruthersville, Missouri with his grandmother, where he attended Caruthersville High School.

In 1989 he joined the United States Army, where he served in Desert Storm and received a Bronze Star, he received an honorable discharge.  He later moved to Chicago, Illinois where he worked in security.  In 2005 he went to New Orleans to help with the cleanup  after Hurricane Katrina after which he moved to Houston, Texas.  Tony truly loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bertha and Charlie Staton, Josie and Lee Massengale and one sister, Karen Staton.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his sons, Anthony Massengale of Columbia, Missouri and Terrance Jackson of Blytheville, Arkansas; his parents, Dorothy Staton Massengale of Blytheville, Arkansas and Robert Lee Massengale of Caruthersville, Missouri; eight grandchildren, sisters, Tiffany Bates of Blytheville, Arkansas, Sandra Staton of Lansing, Michigan, Patrice Freeman of Beloit, Wisconsin; brothers, Jeffery Massengale of Blytheville, Arkansas, Timothy Massengale of Caruthersville, Missouri, Marquise, Brian, Darrell, Chris and Jarrell Freeman all of Beloit, Wisconsin.  He also leaves  a special companion Tasha Barlow of Houston, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews , cousins other relatives and friends.
