Wilbur Lewis Daniels, known as Roc by many, was born January 23, 1956 in Sicily Island, Louisiana to the late Raymond Lee Austin Sr. and Hattie Mae Daniels.
After fighting long and hard for the last few years, Roc became weary and made his heavenly transition on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
Roc was preceded in death by both of his parents, two sisters, Barbara Jean Collins and Renee Austin Candry, and his loving wife, Patricia Daniels.
To know Roc was to love him.He was truly a stand up guy that took care of everyone he loved including extended family. He didn't have many hobbies but loved visiting the casino, watching games shows, spending time with his good friend Freddie, cutting grass, and slowing down traffic as he cruised the city's streets. Lol!
He leaves to cherish his many memories the following:
His Daughter and son in law: Danella (David) Hamilton of Caruthersvillle, MO.; 3 Stepdaughters and 1 Stepson: Tracy Ricks, Kiondra (Darren) Jacks and Charlotte Ricks all of Nashville, TN and Lee Ricks of Adelanto, CA.; His Aunt that he absolutely loved: Mary Jordan of Southgate, California; 4 sisters and 2 brothers: Brenda Gail Daniels Robinson of Tulare, CA. Raymond Austin Jr., Patricia Austin Plain, Shelia Austin, Lona Austin, and Daryl Austin all of Baton Rouge, LA.; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved unconditionally.
